RapidCulling, a free Capture One-style culling app
A fast culling app that groups similar shots, made by a wedding photographer for wedding photographers. Free for Linux, Mac and Windows.
I found myself keeping an old version of Capture One around just for culling, so I built RapidCulling.
I’ve tried AI culling tools like Aftershoot, but I always wanted to check their choices afterwards. AI doesn’t understand emotion the way we do. With RapidCulling I can cull a wedding in a similar time to AI, with confidence that the right photos have been picked.
The main goal was a culling app that groups shots by similarity and stays fast and responsive. I’m also a fan of Linux, which didn’t have a modern culling app until now. It pairs nicely with open-source editors like RapidRAW, darktable and RawTherapee, as well as Lightroom.
RapidCulling is new and in beta, so please report any bugs on GitHub. Enjoy!
