Moon setting timelapse behind the Detling Barn aka WW2 RAF training facility
With the moon setting at 6.36am, I had an early start to give myself at least 30 mins of capture time.
I set my alarm for 5am and was out the door at 5.20am to do the small 15-minute journey to Detling. There was some visible haze in the sky, but I was optimistic that it would show through, and it did!
This building/barn/facility was used for RAF training in WW2. It apparently has the high roof as films of aircraft were projected onto the ceiling for training. Post-WW2, I believe it was used for parachute storage. When I find some further information on the history I shall reference it here.
It is located just behind the Shell garage on Sittingbourne Road, Maidstone bound.
